About Me

Maryellen is a University of Texas at Austin graduate with a B.S. in Textiles. In 1999, Interior Ideas came to life.

What sets her apart is her exceptional client service that she commits to every client. She pays close attention to client’s wishes and balances beauty and functionality in their projects. Her designs demonstrate a keen eye for color, scale and design trends. Maryellen is an invaluable resource for product knowledge of finishes, furnishings and materials.  Her client base has grown entirely from referrals. She has overseen residential and commercial projects, not only in the greater Houston area, but throughout the United States and the Cayman Islands.    

Maryellen loves working in close collaboration with clients but can also provide turnkey service for clients by handling the details within a budget.
